Savannah based 501(c)3 nonprofit helping to build a resilient, equitable and resourceful culture for Coastal Georgia through urban agriculture.

Nurturing Skills and resources

Fruitful Futures nurtures skills and resources for greater community sustainability and self-sufficiency through workshops, classes and events that focus on gardening, beekeeping, urban agroforestry and orchard management as well as community mental health and LGBTQ events that celebrate and uplift the diversity of our community.

Supporting Traditional Lifeways and Land-Based Cultural Heritage

Fruitful Futures revitalizes land-based cultural heritage by focusing on traditional crops and skills of Coastal Georgia while honoring the people and traditions they are from. We look to the resilience of our past and the living heritage of our present as a guide to building a sustainable culture for the future.

Deepening Relation with Native Ecology

Fruitful Futures encourages a deeper relationship between citizens of Coastal Georgia and our native ecology. Our events focus on maritime ecology and native species of the Lowcountry, to help foster a personal relationship between people and land and foster a culture of respect for our natural environment.

Improving Access to Fresh Food.

We strive to improve access to fresh locally-grown food, especially for low-income and marginalized communities. By expanding community urban farm spaces and focusing on traditional crops well suited to the Coastal Georgia climate, Fruitful Futures ensures equitable harvests for our communities.
